Sony beta SP uvw-1800 ntsc or pal

After turning the machine on you see this in the display:
Error –0093
The machine still reacts to the transport buttons and eject.

Solution:
For some reason the machine doesn’t like the signal going into the ref in

• Check the cable
  
• Check if the 75 ohm switch is set correct (ON if nothing is connected to 2nd connector)
  
• Make sure that the blackburst generator pal or ntsc matches the deck.
  
• Put the blackburst on the video input instead
• Put blackburst on ref & video in using a 2nd cable and turning the appropriate 75 ohm switch off.
